METHODIST GUILD.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Alethodist Ladies’ Guild was held at the parsonage yesterday afternoon. There was a large attendance of members and friends presided over by Airs Blamires. The secretary and treasurer read their reports on the year's work. Both officers were congratulated on their reports, Alesdames Cora dine, Aliller and Cocker referred to the' splendid work of all the officers during the past year and it was unanimously decided that all the officers be re-elected. Several interesting discussions took place regarding the work of tly? Guild. After having altered the Guild day to Thursday, and finding it was impossible for several members to attend, it was finally decided to go back to Tuesday, and in future the meetings will be held on the third Tuesday in the month.
Afternoon tea was provided by the Guild members. The secretary was asked to write letters of sympathy to Airs’ Weller whose father lias just died, and Airs Ingram who is very ill. The next meeting of the Guild will lie held at the parsonage, and Airs Thomas will be the hostess. A'otes of thanks were passed to the officers for their work during the year.
