By the narrow margin of six runs, the Wairaraap High School first eleven defeated the Ilutt Valley High School representatives, in a match played at the Wairarapa High School grounds yesterday in dull weather. The wicket was holding and the outfield slow. Wairarapa batted first and knocked up MiG, McAVhinnie 40, and B. Welch, not out, 33, giving sound displays.
