VISIT TO JAPAN. (Received Wednesday, 5.35 a.m.) TOKIO, Tuesday. For the first time in fifty years, Japan is being visited by a reigning monarch. On arrival at Yokohama, the King and Queen of Siam were saluted with twenty-one guns, by the cruiser Isuzu. The station plaza was densely crowded. The royalties proceeded to the Kasumigasek Palace, where they are staying with the Emperor, who will confer decorations on’the King and Queen. An elaborate programme of functions has been arranged.
