FOUND IN PAVILION.

ALLEGED BURGLAR ARRESTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday. Warned by a burglar alarm connected with his house, the caretaker of the Remuera . Bowling Club’s pavilion (where there had been .previous thefts) called the police at 1.50 o’clock this morning. Two officers arrived in ears in twelve minutes, and discovered a man crouching behind a counter with a chisel, two detonators, and a plug of gelignite in his possession. As a result, James Burke, aged 36, a labourer, appeared in the S.AI. Court charged with being a rogue and a vagabond, being found on enclosed premises, and also with having housebreaking implements in his possession. Burke was remanded till April 13th.
