LYONS DISASTER.

BUILDING DYNAMITED. LONDON, Saturday. A Lyons message states that seven bodies, including that of a baby, have been recovered. Six injured were rescued. A woman and a baby died in hospital. Tottering buildings which threatened, three hundred workers were dynamited, but a wing of the Chazeaux Hospital, the walls of which are badly cracked, is still balanced precariously on tlie edge of the chasm. A torrent of water pouring out from a gap in the hillside has doubled the difficulties of removing the debris until a temporary pipe-line has diverted the flow.

Enormous works must be constructed to hold up the remainder of the hilltop, which is crowned with historic edifices.
