NEW ZEALAND TOURNEY. (By Telegraph —Press Association). PALMERSTON N., Wednesday. In a match played in a gale, the professional golfers attending the, Dominion tourney had a narrow victory over the amateurs, winning 54 -games out of 10 In the four-ball, and ifi out of IS, with 6 halved, in the singles. A feature of the match was the record round by A. J. Shaw, who completed the course in 70. The following are the results, amateurs mentioned first: Four-ball. —T. H. Horton and Ross beat Shaw and Moss, 2/1; Duncan and Black beat Douglas and Clements, 4/3; L. Quin and Sime beat Mclntosh and J. Clements, 3/1; Goss and Reilly lost to Rutter and Bean, 2/1; Wright and Conway lost to Bell and T. Galloway, 1 down; Wagg and Clark lost to Butters -and Branch, 2 down; Silk and J. Hornabrook halved with Ritchie and J. Galloway; Colbeck and H. Black lost to Lanibio and Ross, 2 down; A. J. Quin and B. Smith lost to Murray and Fuller, 2 down; Tosswell and Huggins beat Melvin and Dyke, 3/2.
