SYDNEY SALES. PRICES VERY FIRM. « SYDNEY, Tuesday. • At the wool sales to-day, 11,489 bales were offered, of Avhich 9997 were sold at auction and 10S1 were disposed of privately. The market Avas very firm at late rates, with strong general competition. Greasy Merino made up to 17d, Avhich is the top price for the season.
