TRAMPING CLUB.

FIRST SOCIAL FUNCTION. The social committee of the Wairarapa Tramping Club met last night. Mr J. Bradbury was voted to the chair, and after discussion it was decided to hold a dance in the Town Hall on November 6th. Tho day previous was chosen first, but it was learned later that another attraction might take place on the night of the sth. Misses Gif G. Matthews and K. M. Smith were appointed joint secretaries. Arrangements for the function are already well under way, and invitations will be issued before the end of the week. Invitations are to be sent to the Tararua, Hutt and Levin Tramping Clubs.
