TIMARU RESIDENT’S WILL. (By Telegraph—Press Association). TIMARU, Friday. The will of the late John Bland Smith, of Timaru, provided for the fql- - charitable gifts:—South Canterbury Hospital' Board, £500; Presbyterian Orphanage, Timaru, £500; St. Saviour’s Orphanage, Timaru, £500; Salvation Army Boys’ Home, Temulca, £SOO. The Salvation Army, London, and Dr. Barnardo’s Homes, London, each take one-tenth'of the residue of the estate, the gross value of which is approximately £25,000. Under the will of the late Mrs Matthew Morrison, of Palmerston North, and formerly of Hawke’s Bay, generous bequests have been made to various organisations. It is understood that the New Zealand Cancer Research Fund will benefit to the extent of £3OOO. Other bequests include the following: Blind Institute, Auckland, £2000; Presbyterian Church, Palmerston North, £500; Salvation Army of New Zealand, £250.
