Captain F. R. Matthews, the English airman, left Bangkok at 6.45 this morning for Singo'ra, in continuation of his flight to Australia. He stated that he was greatly pleased with the repairs effected to his machine at Bangkok, necessitated by his recent crash. * . . ‘
SMITH STARTS AGAIN. (Received Friday, 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, Thursday. Kingsford Smith, who has recovered from an attaek of influenza, left Heston at dawn for Australia.. CANADA TO ENGLAND. (Received Friday, 9.5 a.m.) VANCOUVER, Thursday. A message from Harbour Grace (Newfoundland) states that Captain Errol Boyd (Canadian). and Lieutenant Haroold Connor (United States), navigator, took off for England in the plane Columbia at 11.20 this morning.
