NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE RATES. ■VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pur- * suant to and in exercise of tlie powers conferred on it by “The Counties Act, 1920,” and “The Rating Act, 1925,” and of all other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Masterton County Council intends at an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council, to be held in the 'Council Chambers, Chapel Street, Masterton, on TUESDAY, the Bth day of JULY, 1930, at 2 p.m., to make and levy the following rates, for the year commenced the Ist day of April, 1930, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1 1931. 120 and 121 of “Tlio Counties Act, 1920,” on tlie Capital Rateable Value of all Rateable Property appearing on the Valuation Rolls on the SIX respective Ridings of tlio County as follows: IN THE OPAKI RIDING, a General Rate of ONE PENNY AND ONE SIXTEENTH OF ONE PENNY (1 l-16d) in the pound sterling. IN THE RANGITUMAU RIDING, a General Rato of ONE PENNY & ONE SIXTEENTH OF ONE PENNY (1 1-lGd) in the pound sterling. IN THE UPPER TAUEIiU RIDING, a General Rate of ONE PENNY (Id) in the pound sterling.

' A RATE’under the Provisions of Section 52 of “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 192 U,” of OLE SIXTH OP ONE PENNY (1-Gd) in the pound sterling on the Capital Rateable Value of all Rateable property in the County of Masterton, such Rato being required to meet the Contributions pay able by the Council to the Wairarupa Hospital Board. SEPARATE RATES. ALSO, under the provisions of "TinWater Supply Act, 1908,” and Amendments thereto, to make and levy Separate Rates for the maintenance of Water Races with the respective Water Supply Districts as follows: A SEPARATE RATE OP SEVENEIGHTHS OP ONE PENNY (7-8 d) m the pound sterling on the Capital Rateable Value of all Rateable Property within the Opaki Water Supply Separate Rating District. ALSO under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 192i6, to collect so much as is required of each or the Annual Recurring Special Rates levied on the Capital Rateable Value of all Rateable Property within flip several Special Rating Districts of the County of Masterton to provide for the Annual Charges on the Loans raised in the said D and S 'notice is hereby further GIVEN that all such Rates shall become payable in one sum at the County OlUce, Chapel Street, Masterton, on the 22nd DAY OE JULY’, 1900.
