Parkerson, who is Hying to New Zealand, has been delayed in starting owing to bad weather, and hopes to leave Lympne on 12th March. AVIATRIX’S PLANS. PLI(“IT TO AUSTRALIA. LONDON, Monday. Miss Johnson is at present endeavouring to find a British aircraft firm to sponsor her flight to Australia. She has already received offers from American and German builders, but she hopes to get aid from hqr own people in order to mako a start in May. If successful she will return by air. Miss Johnson plans to follow a course different from those of Hinkler and Chichester. A LUCKY LANDING. (Received Tuesday, 10.30 a.m.) ADELAIDE, This Day. When the propellor dropped off his machine, at an altitude of 3000 feet, Pilot Denny effected a safe landing after a six miles glide. Denny headed for a clear paddock a few miles away. The plane hit the fence and slightly damaged the undercarriage, but then made a perfect landing. A private piano picked up the two passengers.
