SUGGESTED CHINESE REMEDY. (Received Friday, 10.45 a.m.) SHANGHAI, Thursday. With the silver market continuing giddily downward to an unprecedented low level, making the Government’s financial exports to frantically seek any and every possible means to alleviate the worse exchange situation in Shanghai’s history, a ban on the importation of silver has been suggested.
