LOST STEAMER.
ONLY TWO SURVIVORS. TOKIO, Thursday. The captain and quartermaster are the sole survivors of the Fukuju Maru, which foundered ou the north coast in a blizzard. Thirty-one were drowned. The Ifakushin Ataru picked up three clinging to spars after being five hours in the freezing water, but the third did not recover consciousness. The captain said he was pursuing a familiar course in the heaviest weather when a sudden crash 3tove in the vessel's bottom. The hands reached the dock and were ordered to the boats, but waves swept over and the ship sank immediately.
