STOP WORK MEETING.

AT TAWA FLAT. MEN WITH GRIEVANCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The stoppage of work at Tawa Flat was not a strike. It was decided to hold a stop-work meeting to discuss the conditions under which the men are working, and as three shifts arc running, the stoppage was from midnight to midnight. As a result of the deliberations, it was decided that a deputation should endeavour to meet the Public Works Minister on his return from North next week, and place the men’s grievances before him.
