CLAIM AGAINST VETERINARIAN. Tho hearing of a civil action in which Edward Cnrleton Holmes claims from Stanley Fletcher, veterinarian, Cl5O damages for alleged negligence during speying operations on a herd of cows, was commenced before Air Juslico Ostler in the Supreme Court this morning.

Air Biss in reviewing at considerable Jiff, and Air R. R. Burridge for defendant.

Air Biss is reviewing at considerable length the circumstances leading to the claim stated that defendant had operated on some 109 cows 9 of which died shortly afterwards. It was alleged that the instruments used were inadequate and also that the disinfecting agent was inadequate. The case was unfinished at the time of going to press and is likely to occupy the whole day.
