ENJOYABLE PICNIC.
METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL. The annual picnic of the Masterton Methodist Sunday School, held on Mr W. 0. Benton’s property at Featherston, on Saturday, in beautiful weather, was in all respects highly enjoyable and successful. A large number of people, went down by the morning train and they were reinforced by a big additional contingent in the early afternoon. The following are the results of , sports events: — Girls’ Races—9 to 10: Enid Harris I, Alma Davey 2, Lily Hessell J. 11 to 12: .Dpsley Wainwright 1, Jean Brown 2, Phyllis Saunders 3. 13 to 14: Edith Davis I, Ethel O’Donnell and Beatrice Davies 2, Edith Mannell 4. Junior Bible Class Race.—Thelma Rippon 1, Phyllis Hessell 2, Kathleen Kilmister 3. Bible Class Race. —Miss Mary --ash 1, Miss D. O’Donnell 2, Miss L. Cocker 3. Three-legged Race. —Kathleen Kilmister and Thelma Rippon 1, Alma Davey and Margaret Palmer 2.
