Another famous author, Bulwer Lytton, once wrote: "He who doth not smoke hath either known no ,, T eat oricf or rcfuscth himself the softest consolation next to that which comes from heaven.” As to the harmfulness of the habit, it chiefly depends on the tobacco. Brands loaded with nicotine should be shunned.
