A man named Peter O’Brien, aged 44, and married, Avith a family of three, a mercer of Tauranga, committed suicide at Kumeroa yesterday by cutting Ijis throat Avith a razor. He had been ill for some time, and Avas on a health - recruiting visit to his Avife’s relatives at Kumeroa.

He left the house in the morning, and as he did not return a search Avas made. He was found in the afternoon in a paddock some distance from the house, quite dead, Avith a razor by his side.
