TRUSTEES NOT FAVOURABLE. IS MUSEUM USEFUL? At last night's meeting of the Trust Lands Trust, an application wag i‘c’eeived from the Masterton Central School Committee for a grant for the school museum, and a request that the rent of the caretaker's cottage, or a -rebate of part of the rent for the current year. Mr Coradine: “This is an application for special treatment for the : S chooL The schools are all placed on the same basis, and the Trust should mot differentiate between schools. I do not agree to a special rebate as a set-off, but would agree to one being made straight out for the museum." Mr Krahagen stated that the school committed financially was in low water. •He he had been informed that was an expensive one to keep clean, and considered that the Trust should help.
