THE SOUTH PARK.

The committee which has taken in band work in connection with the Masterton South Park is proving that it is alive to the duties expected of it, and is determined to make the Park a beauty spot and recreation ground worthy of the town of Masterton. It is a matter for congratulation that Masterton possesses citizens willing.to interest themselves so keenly in the work of establishing and mamtaining a park at the south end. ot the town. The committee will doubtless make the spot, a place that Masterton will be proiia ot. The task is no light one, but is quite within the ability of the committee to accomplish, and the residents of South Masterton will in the future find ample opportunity to express their appreciation of the splendid foresight of the South Park Society in providing one of the prettiest areas to be found in the Wairarapa.
