W.E.A.

FAREWELL LECTURE. * . U The lecture to be delivered in the Municipal Social Hall at 8 o’clock this evening by Mr A. Ernest Mandcr is not only the last of the historical series, “A Hundred Years Ago,” on which, he has lately been engaged, but the last he is to deliver in Mastcrton, for the time at least, under the auspices of the W.E.A. As was announced recently, Mr Mander has resigned from the staff of Victoria College in order to take up another position, and his loss will be regretted keenly by all who are associated with the W.E.A. movement. In previous lectures of the series he is to complete to-night, Mr Mander has compared conditions a hundred years ago with those of the present day. His ' subject to-night will be “The Last Hundred Years and the Next.”
