GIFT FOR AERO CLUB.
HANDSOME HISTORIC RECORD. ACTIVITIES TO BE FILMED. A gift of a moving picture film, depicting completely the activities of the Auckland. Aero Club, is to be made by Mr Henry Hayward, president of the New Zealand Picture Supplies and Fuller-Havward Pictures, to the Auck land Aero Club. Mr Hayward's offer of the picture has been accepted by Mr L. W. Swan, secretary of the club, on behalf of the committee, and as soon as Mr Hayward’s nephew, Mr Rudall Hayward, the well-known New Zealand pioneer producer, returns to Auckland, he will make a start on the film. Mr Hayward, who is a vice-president of Ihe Auckland Aero Club, is bearing the cost of the whole production, which will, in years to come, prove a most historic record of the early activities of the Dominion’s first aero club. The film will give particular attention* to the important work of instructing pupils. “Shots” will be taken from the air, and altogether the picture, when finished, should be really worth seeing. After the film lias been shown locally, it will be handed over by Mr Hayward, to remain forever the property of the club.
