AMAZING SIDELIGHTS. REVEALED AT INQUEST. Press Association-Electric Telecraph-Cooyrigfc SYDNEY, Friday. Amazing sidelights on an underworld vendetta were revealed at a Coroner 's enquiry to-day on the gunman, George Gaffney, who was fatally shot outside the home of James Devine, at Maroubra, at midnight on July ISth. Graffney had, acording to the evidence, previously shot Frank Green, and expressed his intention of carrying the feud to the bitter end.

Devine, on whose behalf a plea of justifiable homicide was made by his solicitor, to-day was committed for trial in September on a charge of murdering Gaffnev.—A. and X.Z. P.A.
