ST. PATRICK’S SCHOOL.

STATUE UNVEILED. An interesting and well-attended ceremony was held at the St. Patrick’s School yesterday afternoon, when a beautiful marble statue of St. Patrick was blessed and unveiled by His Grace, Archbishop Redwood. The statue, which was donated to St. Patrick’s Scliol by The Brigidinc community in Masterton, was designed and moulded in Rome, and is of perfect workmanship. The Rev. Pathed Barclay, of Wellington, gave a most interesting address on the life of St. Patrick, dwelling particularly upon the educational ideals obtained from a study of the life of that saint.
