ALLEGED FRAUD.
BIG SUM INVOLVED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. ' In the Magistrate’s Court, John Bullars McKenzie, aged 25, was charged with obtaining £57 19s from the Checker Service Station Company on June 15th by fraud, by saying that he had a timber-cutting contract at Darlield. The Chief-Detective said that thirtycharges, involving £7OO, would be preferred against McKenzie, who was remanded until September 25th.
