BUILDING IN MASTERTON.

PRACTICALLY AT STANDSTILL. s PERMITS FOR JUNE. Only five building'permits were issued by the Masterton Borough Council during the month of June. These permits, which represented a contract for sample rooms (between £I4OO and £1500) and four motor sheds and additions, totalled £1695. This is probably the first occasion for many years that a dwelling has not been included in the month’s permits. if ■ The permits issued during June last year amounted to £5093/10/-.
