GASTRIC INFLUENZA.
NOT PTOMAINE POISONING. THE GREY LYNN 'CASES. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Dr. Boyd, Health Officer, after an enquiry, expresses the opinion that the report of many cases of sickness at Grey Lynn, suggested to be ptomaine poisoning, is a form of gastric influenza, which is fairly prevalent in Auckland.
