WOMAN SENT TO GAOL
ILL-TREATS NEPHEW. SYDNEY, Saturday. Andrina Thompson was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for ill-treat-ing her nephew, a youth of 20, at Woolongong. Evidence showed that the youth was fed on porridge, potatoes and dry bread, chained up at night by a dogchain in an outhouse with a concrete floor, and shamefully beaten.
