HIDES AND SKINS.
WELLINGTON SALE. (Special to Daily Times). WELLINGdON, Friday. Murray, Koberts, Ltd., report:—At yesterday’s sale we offered small catalogues of hides, sheepskins and tallow. Sheepskins sold at about last sale’s level, Salteds -were a shade easier. Cowhides fully maintained their high level. The market for calf skins was firmer. Ox hides sold at late rates. The following is the range of prices:—Sheepskins, half bred, lOd to 13Jdj crossbred, fine, lid to 1241, medium, lOd to llld; sliortwools SJd to lid; lambs, 84d to llfd; pelts, 4d to ®fd; salteds, 4/6 to 9/1; pelts, 2/3; lambs, 3/4 to 6/6. Hides: —Ox, heavy 84d to 9 7-8 d; medium, 8 5-8 d to Bfd; light, 7 3-8 d to 8 3-Sd; cow, heavy 74d to 83d; medium, 7d to 83d; light, 74d to 8 3-8 d; bull, 2d to 53d; yearlings 74d to iS5d; calf, lid to 13 318 d. Tallow: In casks, 23/ to 26/9; in tins, 15/ to 25/.
