CHINESE FINED
IN POSSESSION OF OPIUM. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Lay. A Chinese named Joe Ah Wing (40), of-Hainiug Street, was to-day lined £25 for toeing in possession of opium. The police had difficulty in getting into the premises which were barricaded.. Seven or eight Chinese were present at the time of the raid.
