WEDDINGS.

TURNER—BEETHAM. A Avedding of considerable local Interest took place at St. Matthe\j’'s Church last evening, the' contracting parties being Miss Mary Beetham, oldest daughter of Mr and. Mrs Albert Beetham, of Opaki road, ’ ‘Masterton, and Mr J. Turner, of PaMatua. 1 The bride, avlio Ava» given away by her grandfather, Mr S. Bolton, Pahiatua, Avas charmingly attired in a beautiful pink beaded dress, and carried: a handsome bouquet of pink and Avhitc floAvers. Miss Joan BCcthaiii, sister of ’ ’ f ife bride, Avas bridesmaid, and Mr Albert Turner, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The ceremony ay as performed by the Rev. W. Bullock. A reception Avas afterwards held at the residence of the bride’s parents, and the happy couple left later on the honeymoon tour.

WILTON—CARRIG. The marriage Avas solemnised yesterday at Bt. Patrick’s Church, by the R6v. Father, UJcnbnrg, of Miss Duleie Carrig, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Carrig of Masterton, and the late Mr P. Carrig of Wellington, to Mr 11. T. Wilton, eldest son of Mr and Mrs T. W. Wilton, of Tane, Eketahuna, and formerly of Masterton. The bride looked charming in a dress of Avhitc satin trimmed Avith silver lace tlie usual bridal veil and orange blossoms. She Avas given away by her brother, Mr V. E. Carrig. The bride’s bouquet av.-is of lovely white chrysanthemums, cyclamen and begonias. The bridesmaid, Miss Lila Spicer, wore a cream silk.frock and head band to match. She also carried a bouquet of autumn leaves, roses and begonias. Mr Cecil Wilton, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. A reception Avas afterwards held in the Central Arcade Hall Avliere the usual toasts AA r ere honoured. The happy young couple left later to spend their honeymoon up north.
