At the conference it was understood by tlie groAvcrs’ representath’es that the price of wheat should be 6s on the present price of Hour, but it appeared that the millers Averc basing the price to be paid on a lower; value of flour, and making the price of Avlicat correspondingly lower. It Avas considered by the Farmers’ Union that ,the matter AA’as therefore still under negotiation.
