PUT IN HIS PLACE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUOKLAND, Wednesday. “Don’t speak crossly to the Avitness,” Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., requested Mr J. F. W. Dickson, avlio was crossexamining in the Magistrate’s Court this morning, and had approached close to the Avitness-box to ask his questions. • “I’ll speak as I think fit,” retorted Mr Dickson. “Not i n my Court,” was the reply from the Bench. “Go back to your place.” and the larvyer, although still protesting that he would speak to the Avitness as he thought fit, had no choice but to obey.
