SUDDEN DEATH.

ON MOTOR LAUNCH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NELSON, Tuesday. John William V. Cl a ridge, aged 55, an old resident of Richmond, died suddenly in unusual circumstances. Deceased was in his motor launch off Saxon’s Island, when lie must have had a seizure. The launch was seen from the shore steering an erratic course, and eventually ran ashore on a mudbank, with the engine still running. Those attracted by the launch’s movements found Mr Claridge dead. ‘ At an inquest, a verdict of heart failure was returned.
