NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Mauriceville County Council, held at the County Office at Noon on the -9th day of April, 1927, the following resolution •jvas duly parsed, and will be submitted for continuation at a Meeting of the said Council, to be held at the County Office at Noon on the 14th day of May, 1927. THAT in pursuanco and in exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 17 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Kaiparoro Road Special Rating Area in the County of Mauriceville, testified by a petition signed by not les3 than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said Specif Eating Area, the capital values of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said County are collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did , not so consent, the Mauriceville County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: — 1. THAT tlio Council proceed to raise a loan of Two hundred pounds (£200) for the purpose of metalling Kaiparoro Road. ■ 2. THAT such loan be called ‘ 1 The Mauriceville County Kaiparoro Road Special Rating Area Loan of £2OO, 1926.” 3. THAT the currency of the said loan shall be for a period of twenty (20) years, commencing on the first day Ot December, 1926, and maturing on the first day of December, 1946. 4. THAT the interest cn the said loai} shall be at the rate of Six pounds (£6) per centum per annum, and shall be payable half-yearly on the first d'ay of June and December in each and every year. 5. That the form of security for the payment of principal and interest on the said loan shall be one (1) debenture of Two hundred pounds (£200) and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926. - iG. THAT the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the said loan and the interest, sinking fund and other charges thereon the special rate of three farthings (Jd) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Kaiparoro Road Special Rating Area in the County of Mauriceville. 7. THAT the principal and interest shall be payable at the Bank of New Zealand, Wellington. S. THAT the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first year of the said loan during the construction of the work be paid out of the loan. _ < A full copy of the said Special Order may be seen at the County Office, or at my Office, Church Street, Masterton.
