A LARRIKIN GANG.

THE LEADER CONVICTED. SENT TO BORSTAL INSTITUTE. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 22. Henry Joseph Codyre, the leader of a juvenile gang of larrikins, was today committed to the Invercargill Borstal Institution for 18 months by Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., on charges of theft and using obscene language. He had been before the Court twice previously on serious charges. Two -other members of the gang were admitted to probation for six months, and another two who appeared in the Children’s Court were admonished and discharged.
