« MASTERTON SALE. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report: —We held our weekly sale yesterday, when we offered a full yarding of sheep to a good attendance. Fat sheep were on the rise, and store sheep sold on a par with late rates. -Light fat ewes, 17s; light fat wethers, 27s 10d; small 2-tooth wethers, 21s, 22s to 32s Gd; store ewes, 12s 6d, 13s, 14s to 14s 9d; ewes in lamb, to S.D., 15s to 20s; owes in lamb to stud ram, 335; woolly hoggets, 15s to 19s sd; small shorn hoggets, 8s to 9s 6d; medium b:f. lambs, 14s; small b.f. lambs, 9s sd; store ewes, 255. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report:—A small yarding of sheep came forward yesterday, and sold at prices on a par with late rates. Following are our prices:—Fat ewes, ISs 6d; fat wethers, 255; forward ewes, 13s 6d; store wethers, ISs. ADDINGTON PRICES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) OHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. There were heavy fat stock, . but small store sheep, entries at Addington to-day. Store Sheep.—A steady market for good ewes at a drop of Is to 2s per head for lambs, and an improvement of up to 2s for wethers. Fat Lambs.—Extra prime heavy lambs to 34s 7d; prime, 28s fid to 31s 6d; medium weight, 27s to 29s fid; medium quality, 24s to 26s fid; light, 21s to 23s fid. Fat Sheep—Extra prime wethers to 37s lOd; prime, 32# to 355; medium, 29s 3d to 31s 9d; light. 27s to 295; extra prime ewes to 33s lOd; prime, 24s Cd to 27s fid; medium, 20s fid 1 to 245; light, 17s to 20s; aged, 14s to 16s Gd. Fat Cattle.—There was a drop of about 25s per head. Northern cattle (49) averaged about £ls 10s. Best beef made 37s to 40s; medium, 34s to 36s fid; inferior and cow, 29s to 335; jough down to 20s. Extra heavy sters to £l9 7s efid; liavy, £ls 15s to £l7 15s. Dairy Cattle.—A good sale. Best calvers, £lO to £l3 ss; medium, £6 10s to £9 10s; inferior, £3 10s to £6; best heifers, £8 to £l4; others, £3 10s to £7 10s.
