BOYS’ C AMP. The bovs attending tin) annual Y.M.- - C.A. camp at Te Whiti returned toy Mastorton yesterday. The boys seem to have had a. first-rate time, and all were well sunburned and happy. Good weather prevailed throughout the iod, and outdoor snorts and pastilijjfc were freely indulged in. Games, ming, fishing .and tramping—all- found their place on the daily programme. Longer tramps were made over the. hills to the limestone caves and to the Kourarnu power station, . both .of which proved exceedingly interesting. In addition, there were- instructive ami inspirational talks, and on Sundays religious services and sing-songs in the native hush. The general secretary of the YALC;A. personally conducted the camp, being assisted in the various camp duties by the boys themselves. The boys enjoyed good health throughout, and -a happy spirit prevailed. Appreciation is expressed for the use of Mrs Warden’s property. and for her kindly assistance at all times, and also for the help given by parents, friends, anil others interested.
