BOOKMAKERS ARRESTED.

PINED £350. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Three bookmakers, arrested on Saturday, pleaded guilty in the Police Court, and were lined sums aggregating £350. Thomas Leieo was fined £2OO, James Abrahams £IOO and William Beresford £SO. Detective Cummings said that Beresford did his betting in a city hotel, Lecce in a billiard room and Abrahams in the street. All made bets with a constable.
