THEFTS BY YOUTHS. MORE HUSII-IIUSH POLICY'. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. A system of barter, instituted, by four youths employed in city retail firms, led to their appearance in the Magistrate’s Court this morning to answer a series of charges of theft. The system of accused was to exchange the goods they stole from their employers. The total value of the goods stolen was £l2 7s. The youngest accused was IS years of age, and the eldest twenty. They were, admitted to probation for three years, and their names were ordered to be suppressed.
