It is understood that chickens and even mammals, inoculated with the cancer .germ, developed the disease within a very short time. Other mammals have been inoculated with the organism and thus rendered immune to subsequent inoculation of live bacteria. Efforts are now being directed to the isolation of the chemical agent in company with which the micro-organism of cancer operates. The presence of such an agent has been disclosed.)
