CHILDREN’S FANCY DRESS. The children’s annual fancy dress ball took place on' Friday evening, in the Public Hall. The attendance was good, about dO children being present,
and a number of adults. A very dainty supper was provided, and' the music was supplied by the local ladies. Allgie (Pyjama Boy), Pat McKenzie (Harvester), June McKenzie (Snow White), Jean Algie (Wairarapa A.A.), Connie Cross (Japanese lady), Billo Algie (All Black), Nora Brannigan (Duco motor service), Billie Percy (Ailfredtou Football Club), Pat Brannigan (Christmas Tree), A. The sum of £lB was raised for the benefit of the .school prize and Christmas tree fund.
