The Sunday Times learns that the discoveries oh Dr. <■ ye and Mr Barnard in relation to cancer are being pursued with success. It is understood that chickens and even mammals have been inoculated with the cancer germ and developed the disease within a very short time. Other mammals have been inoculated with the organism, and thus rendered immune from subsequent inoculations with the live bacteria.
Efforts are now being directed to tlie isolation of the chemical agent in company with which the micro-organism of cancer operates. The presence of such an agent has been disclosed. —Aus. and X.Z. Cable Assn.
