Court martinis have ’been ordered against tliree high officers of the United States coastguard service following the most sensational raids and arrests since the Volstead Law came on to the Statute Books. Bootleggers’ secret papers seized showed that codes were in operation between the ships in Bum Row .and the Navy’s fastest coastguards, and that several officials of the Navy were on the regular pay-roll of the rumrunners.—Aus. and N.Z.
