WHAT MR McCOMBS THINKS.

Mr - McCombs, Senior 'Labour . M.P., says if 85 per cent, of those who voted Liberal at-the last election vote Labour this year, a 9 they did. in the Franklin electorate yesterday, then Labour will,record the biggest progressive vote since the days of the Hon. R. J. Seddon.
“I believe if the Franklin figures are an indication of the trend of political thought, that this year Labour •will score the most remarkable advance evermade in the history of New Zealand,” concluded Mr McCombs. *
