Eleven convalescent infantile paralysis patients were transferred from-the Christchurch Hospital to Bottle • Lake Hospital this 'morning, and nineteen were similarly transferred previously. Dr. Fox, medical superintendent ’ at the hospital, stated this afternoon that thoie were 75 infantile paralysis patients remaining in hospital, and there are no very serious cases among them. Niue new cases of infantile paralysis are reported ,including five in the city, two in one family. WAIROA. WAIROA, This Day. The first case of infantile paralysis in the Wairoa district was brought into the local hospital yesterday, the sufferer being a Maori man, aged 22 years, from Mohaka. The case is severe, both legs being affected. All contacts have been quarantined. FATAL CASES AT MOTUEKA. NELSON, Friday. Two fatal cases of infantile paralysis, that of a married woman from Motueka and a girl aged 11 years, from Glenhope, are reported.
