CHICAGO VISITATION. MALADY INCREASING. J'rcss Association—Electric Telegraph—Copyrigl CHICAGO, Saturday. The Health Commissioner announces that itho strange malady is still increasing, and lid new eases are reported, with 33 deaths, during the past 24 hours, making the total 312 deaths. He declares that ho is still unable to diagnose the malady. He asserts that it is similar in nature to that which swept Chicago in 1892, and is not related to the influenza, oi’ 1918. So far as he and his associates have been able to determine, it is respirational trouble which is not fatal in itself, but paves the way for influenza and pneumonia.—Aus. and X.Z. Cable Assn.
