RIFLE SHOOTING.

MASTERTON—OPAKI CLUB. The above club held their final field -•lay on Saturday, 21 members attending. The combined scores of the two field days decide a number of valuable 'trophies, together with the club championship. Weather conditions were the worst possible, and at times shooting was impossible. The long ranges had 7to be abandoned, and the second series was completed at the short ranges. J. (McKenzie, who won the championship, :-shot consistently, and his win was very H. 11. Mawley was runner-up. The grand aggregate (wit hhandicap wadded) was won by S. McKay, with F. .Shaw as the runner-up. Williams Rose Bowl—Short range (scores from both field days 4Wbunting) was won by F. Shaw, H. King and S. McKay tieing for second place. Donald Cup.—The long range aggregate was won by S. McKay, with W. L. Free the second man. Championship aggregate scores were: —J. McKenzie 341, H. 111. Mawlev 337, K. J. King 335, S. McKay 330, H. H. Donald 328. Grand aggregate (handicaps added). —S.
