Competition by both Home and-toieign 1 divers is fairly, active tor xbd, fail French demand for Merino. The opening catalogues were fairly representa-
tive. Murray, Roberts and (0., March 10. —Good selection, with the exception of slipe wool and coarse xbd. Merino declined 10 to 15 per cent; faulty and inferior descriptions showed the greatest decline; tine xbd declined 74 per cent, medium declined 5 per cent, coarse xbd shows no material change.
